The renowned, world-class gipsy swing ensemble Trio Manouche formed by musician and composer Simon Harris will be performing their distinctive music – reminiscent of Django Reinhard and Stephen Grapelli- at 7:30 PM in the Village Hall on Friday 18 Oct.
Featuring guitars and double bass, the band will perform a range of infectious, foot-tapping melodies to create a fresh, sophisticated and hugely enjoyable musical experience. This is a departure from our usual drama-based productions and we will be providing cabaret-style seating to capture the feel of Le Hot Club de France, Reinhard and Grapelli’s favourite stomping ground. We hope that the new more informal seating and a bar serving quality wine and other drinks will encourage a big turn out. So, to secure the ‘Hot Ticket of the Month’ ring Chris Wynne on 01636 526168.
