Come and enjoy an evening of traditional games on Saturday 21 February, from 7pm until 10pm at the village hall.
In 1915, Flintham residents played games to raise money so that they could send presents to the local men who were serving in the Armed Forces.
We’ll be playing some of the games which were popular at that time. There were lots of card games, games of skill and games that made you laugh. You can have a go at all of them or stick with one if it really captures your imagination. Throughout the evening there will also be a sprinkling of magic and sleight of hand.
Entrance is free, thanks to our Heritage Lottery Fund grant which is supporting a range of World War One related activities. The evening is suitable for all ages.
There will be a licensed bar and refreshments for sale.
